Hi! My name is Grace, and I am a freelance science writer currently living in Palo Alto, CA. When I’m not writing, I am working on my PhD in Neuroscience at Stanford University, where I build computational models of schizophrenia. In 2020, I was the AAAS Mass Media Fellow at WIRED, and I have also written for Scientific American, Brain Facts, and Popular Science. Between 2016 and 2018, I studied neuroscience and gender studies at the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar. When I’m not writing or doing research, I go on runs with my dog, Winnie, or watch Star Trek with my partner.
